Woman Wanted For Escape In Alabama Apprehended Locally
Local law enforcement officials arrested a woman Thursday against whom warrants had been issued in the State of Alabama.
Officials with the Lawrenceburg Police Department Criminal Investigation Division reported Friday that Doshie Jane Nevis, age 30, of Lawrenceburg, was arrested at 2697 Highway 43 North, on a warrant charging her with escape.
The warrant was issued by officials from Marshall County, Alabama.
Nevis was arrested after authorities received an anonymous tip regarding her whereabouts.
She was transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center without incident where she was booked under that warrant, as well as on a local warrant charging her with violation of probation.
She was incarcerated without bond to await extradition to Alabama.
